Why some people work at home.
Although it may not be right for everyone, working at home has a lot of advantages to some. Most people have the idea that you have to get a 9 AM to 5 PM job in an office to be a successful adult, but that just isn't true. It's possible to be successful and walk you own unique, individual path!
Do not be confused, working from home will be difficult and at times it may be a financial struggle. It is hard to decide which route is best when choosing what to do and how to do it.
The best way is to find some source of freelance type work. This can be web design, transcribing odd jobs, writing, etc. My current go to source is Amazon's Mechanical Turk website. They pay to Amazon Payments which you can use as an Amazon Gift Card or pay to your person checking account.
I'm still very new to working and making money from my own home and I still have a long way to go but I would like to offer as much advice as I possibly can! I am not paid by anyone to give my opinion or to write reviews. No one asked me to, and I don't work for anyone but myself. I am simply trying to share my knowledge and experience with you as I go along, and maybe we can help each other!
Please take the time to follow me on Twitter! I post often about my personal life and awesome places to earn money, and I update when I post a new blog post!

Welcome!
Hello, new follower! My name is Lindsay, I'm 25 and I currently work from home!
I decided one day that I just was not content with the situation I was in. No college education, working at a fast food place, then a movie theater, then a fast food place. It really made me feel badly about myself.
I couldn't take the constant belittlement from customers, not to mention bosses.
So I quit!
This is my journey. :)
